About Logistics Marketing
Hiring a Marketing Agency Shouldn’t Require a Glossary
Work with people who speak your language by partnering with Logistics Marketing
For over 15 years, we've walked, talked, and breathed this industry. Spinning the plates, chasing the docs, making miracles happen at 5 pm - we've been there. So, we know what makes you and your clients tick.
You don't need to worry about explaining the industry or having the jargon lost in translation. You just need to tell us where you fit into the supply chain world, and we'll get to work on making your part a little bigger.
Chris has worked closely with us for many years, bringing structure, creativity, and a deep understanding of our business. He recently led our website relaunch with clarity and precision, managing every stage from planning to delivery. He's fully embedded in our team, maintains strong relationships across departments, and is always ready to support wherever needed.

The ethos
The Best Logistics Marketers Are Those Who
Have Actually Worked With Freight Clients
You wouldn’t use a translator who doesn’t speak the language well, and marketing for the logistics industry is no different. Many marketers working in the supply chain sector have chosen the niche because “It’s just moving goods from A to B”, and because it’s a “need” business that isn’t going anywhere.
The problem with that is that the details count. The nuance from one supply chain to another is what buyers are looking to you to understand, and another “bespoke, innovative solutions” on your website just isn’t going to cut it. In fact, it’s going to quietly discard you from consideration without you knowing.
Then, there is the real sacrifice you make with generic marketers: your time.
You are the expert in your business, and it’s your specialisation that attracts clients – but it can’t do that if you can’t have a straight conversation with the person who’s meant to pull it out of you.
You don’t need to worry with Logistics Marketing. Both of our industry specialists have been in the industry for over a decade, with our lead also working another five years in marketing for the sector. Whether you need support with your website, LinkedIn, or positioning, you’re in good hands with us.
Your Expertise Gets Lost
When Your Marketer Doesn’t Understand It
A marketer who does not know freight cannot fully translate what makes your business worth choosing. The knowledge that sets you apart stays inside the business — invisible to the buyers who need to see it.
Time Spent Explaining Is
Time Not Spent Growing
Every hour spent briefing a generalist on how freight works is an hour not spent on the business. It also depends on the level of understanding of the person who received the brief — not the person who gave it.
The team
Meet the People Behind the Work
Chris Stennett
Most agencies learn logistics from a briefing doc. Chris learned it by doing it for 11 years at Felixstowe — working with traffic sheets, processing entries, and figuring out how to save the day when the dominoes are falling, but the client needs you to make it happen.
Educated on the desk, by the Institute of Export, and by half a decade of writing for the industry, Chris will tell you that it’s impossible to know it all — but together we know enough.
That background is the whole reason Logistics Marketing exists. The strategy, the SEO, the content — it all comes from someone who has sat where your team sits.
When he isn’t at his laptop, he’s travelling, racing triathlons, or making yet another coffee.
Jess Stennett
Seven years of running key accounts gave Jess the thing that makes her dangerous in content: the ability to make complex information clear. Whether it was an instruction to an agent, creating an internal SOP, or helping a client understand something, Jess delivered.
She expanded this skill when she spent three years teaching in China. Taking a room full of people who don’t share your language and helping them speak it — this is essentially the role of a logistics content writer.
Experienced in customs, ocean freight, and documentation, Jess has worked at several large companies around Felixstowe – providing that key combination of warmth, competence, and attention to detail.
Outside of work, she rescues and works with animals — dogs, cats, and at one point an entire donkey sanctuary.
Marketing Is an Ecosystem. Every Part of It Has a Job
Support your entire sales cycle by covering every touchpoint. 85% of buyers will check your website, but more than that will check something – whether that’s the company LinkedIn or ChatGPT.
Cover your blind spots so that those touchpoints you never see actually bring you a step closer to the contract, instead of silently moving you out of consideration.
Build your credability throughout your ecosystem, and your sales efforts will have a greater chance of converting to revenue.
The website Needs Traffic to Work
Attract visitors with your SEO and off-site efforts. If no one is finding you organically or by looking up your brand, your website is just an online brochure that nobody reads.
Your People Are Your Brand
Highlight your greatest asset in all of your content. This is a people industry, and yours know your clients best. We help you get them front and centre so that their knowledge helps you close deals.
Value and Price are Not the Same
Stop competing on rate and start competing on partnership. The difference is in marketing that communicates service, reliability and genuine expertise - not price.
