Win More Business with Copy that Speaks Volumes
Hit the ground running with someone who truly knows the industry. Our logistics copywriters have the technical knowledge, understand the friction points of a shipment, and can translate complicated subjects into words that your client can actually gain value from - not just confuse them with jargon.
The buyers evaluating your freight business read your service pages, peruse your LinkedIn, and judge your case studies. If that copy doesn't speak their language, it isn't helping you win them over.

Meet Your Logistics Copywriters
Chris Stennett
Experienced across customs, haulage, warehousing, ocean and air, Chris has worked with nearly every function of freight forwarding over an 11-year career in operations. He started with an apprenticeship supported by the Institute of Export, and has loved the game ever since.
When Chris decided to leave the industry to travel, he reskilled as a copywriter and digital marketer, but quickly found himself back inside the industry — leveraging his blended expertise to deliver large-scale website projects for international brands.
Chris is our senior logistics copywriter, SEO specialist, project manager, data analyst, and AI lead — spinning all the plates as logisticians do. Outside of work, Chris is a keen triathlete and traveller who’s raced around Europe.
Jess Stennett
A former key account manager with seven years in ocean freight, Jess has managed shipments from origin coordination through to UK customs clearance, documentation, and final delivery. She has held clients’ hands through Brexit and the CHIEF/CDS transition.
Alongside her deep operational knowledge, Jess thrives on processes — introducing SOPs, compliance checks, and customs instructions to several of her key accounts so that the details were always managed, making technical subjects easy to understand.
Jess’ skill for making complicated subjects easy was bolstered when she began teaching English in China, which she has done between UK roles for three years. Alongside Jess’ logistics and teaching career, she is a keen animal rescuer, finding parents for strays and once managing a donkey sanctuary.
What gets written
Logistics Copywriting Services
Every piece of copy is written to serve a commercial purpose — not to fill a page.
Website Copy for Logistics Companies
Attract clients with words that speak to your prospects’ problems. The buyers evaluating your business visit your service pages before they call, and they want to know that you understand them beyond the service’s name and price tag.
Case Studies That Close the Gap
Build trust so that you can inspire the partnership. A named case study written from the perspective of a real logistics client problem — what was at stake, how it was solved, what changed – is what closes the gap.
White Papers and Technical Guides
Demonstrate expertise with technically accurate, clearly structured content on customs compliance, carrier selection, and supply chain resilience. Written to be read by a decision-maker, not just show off for others in the industry.
Blog Posts and Thought Leadership
Drive interested traffic with content that covers regulation changes, trade developments, and operational best practices — written to answer the questions your buyers are already looking for answers on..
Email Campaigns and Sales Sequences
Guide interested prospects towards a commercial conversation with lead magnets and nurture sequences. By delivering content that aligns with the initial contact trigger, we build trust so that the sales discussion is easier.
Not Sure What You Need?
Most projects start with a 30-minute call. Bring a rough idea of what needs doing — the brief is built from there.
Who this is for
Logistics Sectors Covered
Copy is written across the full freight and supply chain sector — not just the headline verticals.
Freight Forwarders
Air, sea, road, and multimodal — from service pages to client-facing documentation.
Customs Brokers and Compliance
Post-Brexit CDS procedures, import and export compliance, written in the language customs buyers use when selecting a new broker.
Haulage and Road Freight
Fleet capability, regional coverage, temperature-controlled transport, and ADR compliance.
Warehouse and 3PL Operators
Fulfilment, bonded warehousing, pick-and-pack, and value-added services for e-commerce and industrial shippers.
Shipping Agencies and Port Services
Vessel agency, husbandry, and port operations — written with direct experience at the Port of Felixstowe.
Freight Technology and Supply Chain SaaS
TMS, WMS, customs declaration software, and visibility platforms — written for the buyer who understands the operational problem, not just the feature list.
Why it works
Why Logistics Businesses Work With This Service
There are copywriters who research logistics and ask some questions. Then there are logistics copywriters, who know how to get the best out of your expertise so they can translate it.
No Explaining Needed
Save time in meetings by getting straight to the valuable parts. We know the industry and how to talk to your clients - all we need are the details from your specialists so that we can get to work helping you drive revenue.
Credible Copy
Build trust instead of destroying it - or staying bland to stay safe. The prospects reading your copy know their exposure to the industry, and they want to know that you understand their issues. Simple is great, but playing safe doesn't sell to anyone.
Aligned to How Freight Deals Are Won
Support your sales efforts by answering key questions, overcoming objections with proof, and warming the lead to a positive conversation - whether they are landing on your site for the first time, or you're being reviewed by a prospect's board member.
Built Around Your Voice
Keep a consistent tone from one channel to another. Staying on brand builds trust with your audience, so we create a tone of voie document before we touch a piece of copy. One that's used as the source of truth for all word decisions from then on.

Common questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a logistics copywriter?
A logistics copywriter writes commercial content for businesses operating in freight, supply chain, and logistics. That includes freight forwarders, customs brokers, hauliers, 3PLs, warehouse operators, shipping agencies, and freight technology companies.
The role differs from a generalist copywriter because logistics buyers make decisions based on technical credibility. They are assessing whether the business they are reading about understands their world. A logistics copywriter with operational experience can write to that standard from the brief — without requiring the client to translate their operations first.
Outputs include website copy, case studies, white papers, blog content, email sequences, and sales collateral.
How is this different from a generalist copywriter?
A generalist copywriter researches your sector before writing. A logistics copywriter already knows it — meaning the kickoff time is quicker, the right questions are asked, and fewer revisions are needed.
Generalist research produces accurate copy, but it doesn’t come from a place of understanding. Our logistics copywriters have years of experience on the desk, managing shipments, dealing with clients, and performing miracles. You cannot research that, but it makes a difference when a decision-maker is reading it.
What types of content do you write for logistics companies?
Website copy, service pages, sector pages, case studies, white papers, technical guides, blog posts, email campaigns, and sales sequences. For businesses at an earlier stage, foundational content — homepage, service pages, and about page — is often the most valuable starting point.
Content strategy and structure are part of every engagement. Copy is written to serve a commercial purpose within the page it lives on. It is also aligned to where that page sits in the buying journey — a case study does a different job to a service page, and both are written accordingly.
How does the process work?
Every project starts with a conversation. The brief is built from that conversation — not from a form. The aim is to understand who you are selling to, what they are evaluating you against, and where the copy needs to do its most important work.
The process is a relay. Your industry knowledge and the copywriting expertise on this side are combined to produce content that is accurate to your business and persuasive to your buyers. Two rounds of revisions are included. Nothing is published without your sign-off.
A single service page typically takes five to seven working days from brief to first draft. Larger projects are scoped and scheduled at the start.
Do you write for freight forwarding companies specifically?
No. Freight forwarding is the closest sector to our operational experience, but our knowledge goes beyond that – both from an educational and content point of view. We’ve written for shipping agencies, consultants, SaaS providers, and sustainability monitors.
We have learnt so much more about the industry since we began writing for it, and the clients underneath every service remain similar, but we also know it’s impossible to know it all. This is why the focus of our collaboration is to pull out the key differences in you and your business, so that we can highlight those to your prospects.
How is logistics copywriting priced?
Projects are quoted individually based on scope, format, and the research required. As a guide, a single service page typically starts from £350. A full website content project — homepage, four to six service pages, and about page — is quoted as a package.
White papers and long-form technical guides are priced on word count and research requirement. Case studies are priced per case study. Email sequences are priced per campaign.
A free initial consultation is included for every new project. That conversation is used to scope the work accurately before any quote is issued and ensure that we can discuss that the direction you’re envisioning is the right one — so that there are no surprises on either side.
